This house is a pristine example of romantic revival architecture that characterized mid-20th Century vernacular housing. It is unique in South Park for its Tudoresque detail and original condition. Charles Richeson appears to have been the original owner.
 
Appearance
This house is an interesting vernacular interpretation of the Tudor Revival style. The bulky mass of the wood shingled house is gabled and is made Tudoresque by steeply pitched, half timbered gables projecting toward the street. Multi-light casement windows and an arched doorway add further details. Secondary windows are one-over-one double hung wooden sash. The house has a daylight basement and a single car garage. The house and its setting contribute to the historic streetscape.
