Significance

Based on field work conducted in September 2014, this historic property retains its relationship to the streetscape, historic building form and a sufficient amount of exterior historic building fabric (design features, cladding and/or window sash/openings) to contribute to the distinct character of the Georgetown neighborhood.

This is an altered but relatively intact historic property that may possess some limited architectural and/or historic significance. Due to its construction date (age), design character and/or condition limited historical research has been undertaken regarding this property.This property exhibits some  substantive changes to the exterior appearance since it was identified in the 1997 HRI project: it has been renovated with cladding replacement and installation of some modern vinyl window units in opriginal openings.

 
Appearance
Craftsman style bungalow with brick pattern asphalt cladding, gable roof, composition roofing, and a poured concrete foundation. It is in deteriorated condition. Building has typical bungalow roof details such as low-pitched roof, wide overhanging eaves, and knee braces. Windows are 6 over 1 double-hung sash. The central entry porch is enclosed. There is a concrete ramp from the street. There is a full basement under the house. This area may have had a grade change due to the river dike.
