Appearance
This one story, gable roofed dwelling is a good example of the popularity of classical revival styles in the early 20th century. Its predominant pedimented porch supported by square columns as well as its strict symmetry mimic the Greek Revival style. Clipped gables, however, bear witness to its 20th century origin. Multipaned sidelights frame the entrance. Sets of six and eight over one double hung windows complete the three bay façade. Wide concrete steps rise from the sidewalk to the porch steps. The conrer lot is heavily treed. Both the hosue and its setting contribute to the historic streetscape.
