This one-story brick-clad retail building is typical of those that were constructed along streetcar lines in the late 1920s. After the streetcar began running along Wallingford Avenue, commercial buildings appeared at several intersections. This is a later example of this type of development, with several small stores in one single-purpose building. Earlier examples of corner businesses had stores beneath single-family homes or a single store in a building. This one is unusually ornate for such a small commercial district.

| Appearance |
| This one-story brick building has notable twelve-light transoms with turned mullions. A course of cast stone runs above the transoms, and along the upper part of each pilaster. The square tops of the pilasters have cast stone tiles with floral garlands, flanked by scrolls. Most of the pilasters are topped by small urn finials, some of which are missing. The storefronts are largely intact with recessed entries, wood-and-glass doors and metal sash. One of the strorefronts retains the original tile bulkhead; the others are stucco or brick. |
