Significance
This house embodies the distinctive characteristics of a vernacular interpretation of the Queen Anne style. It is important because it enhances our knowledge of vernacular architecture and residential development in Seattle and because it and its setting contribute to the historic streetscape.
 
Appearance
This traditional, two story gable front house form is enriched by surface coverings and details characteristic of the Queen Anne style. The focal point of the house is a round arch recessed bay, perhaps originally a balcony, at the second level. Additionally, the house has a full height gable projection with shallow bay to the north. The eaves of the roof are slightly flared.
