Significance
This nine-unit apartment building was constructed and designed in 1954 by the architect Robert Ross. The original owner was Roy O. Bordner. This apartment building is similar to other buildings constructed around the time that the University Village was developed in 1956. This building is one of few examples of International style apartment buildings in the University District.
 
Appearance
This three-story apartment building is designed in the International Style. The apartments are accessed from the exterior. The south façade of the building consists almost entirely of a window wall and wood panels. A balcony projects almost the entire length of the building. The east and west ends of the building are clad in brick.
