Significance
This motel was built in 1957, a period of intensive motel development in this vicinity. Auto travel was becoming very popular following the austerity of the Depression and World War II. This is typical in form, with three stories, interior hallways and extensive parking. The exterior has been updated.

The appearance of this building has been transfomed by extensive remodeling of the central entrance bay and the adjacent bays with balconies. This section has been re-clad with stucco, with solid balustrades and columns extending from the first to third floors, topped by a curved parapet.
