Appearance
This pyramidal roof cottage is representative of late 19th or early 20th century vernacular housing in South Park. Less common than gable front structures, the pyramidal dwelling was popular even into the 20th century. This house has a corbeled brick center shimney and a full width hipped porch. The porch has been "updated" with very slender battered columns, very similar to those at 825 S Rose St, that rest on panelled piers. The baluster is composed of siding to match the house. This house and its setting contributes to the historic streetscape.
