Appearance |
The Wayfarer Cooperative Building is a simple three-story brick box style apartment. The building footprint is T-shaped. The main entrance, slightly recessed, is surrounded by a small porch with engaged columns topped with a balustrade. The canopy above the entrance was probably added later. The balustrade creates a balcony-like decorative surround for the multi-paned windows above the entrance. Above this second story window is another multi-paned window with a miniature balcony, flanked by narrow double-hung windows. On each side of the entrance is one three-part double-hung window and one single double-hung window, which are repeated on the floors above. There are decorative keystones above the windows. This apartment building is relatively intact. |
