Significance
In the opinion of the survey, this property is located in a potential historic districe (National and/or local).
This Craftsman cottage is one of three (615 & 619 20th Avenue) very similar cottages. This cottage conntains the least integrity of the three but is important as part of the whole. It offers us information about residential development in Seattle and it contibutes to the historic streetscape. There is some indication that Max Schwartz may have developed these houses.

Appearance
This one & 1/2 story Craftsman cottage has a broad, side gable roof with a dominant hipped dormer. The whole cottage was originally wood shingled but is now covered in asbestos shingles. The windows have been replaced although the openings have not been altered. The porch is inset under the southeast corner of the roof but all posts and pilasters obscured by the new siding.
