Appearance
This two and a half story American Foursquare is situated on a lot facing south. The house is clad in narrow clapboard siding and has a hipped roof. The front entrance is located on the east corner of the front elevation; a fairly massive column supports the second story on the corner. Next to the front entrance is a window with decorative leaded glass. In the corner opposite the front porch there is another fairly massive column that compliments the porch column. The second story front elevation has two corner box bay windows also with leaded glass and supported with decorative brackets. A small, three-part window is centered on the second story front elevation. The third story has four gabled doors each with two multi-paned windows. A brick chimney is located in the middle of the west facing elevation. The front porch has been modified, with original stairs and porch railing removed. A frame garage was added in 1912.
