Significance

This two-story commercial building was constructed in 1956, according to the 1956 King County Assessor property card, in the Uptown neighborhood. The property card from 1957 lists the architect as S.G. Morrison.

 
Appearance

Constructed in 1956, this poured concrete building is located on the southwest corner of W Harrison Street and Queen Anne Avenue N. The site slopes down to the west from the east. The two-story building has an L-shaped footprint and stands on a poured concrete foundation. The building has a flat roof with eaves. The building is clad in plywood and brick veneer with a smooth face. The building’s main entrance is located on its north elevation and faces W Harrison Street.
