Significance
This American Foursquare was built in 1907, along with the house next door, also an American Foursquare. It is one of the few remaining single-family homes on the block. The architect and/or builder are unknown. Early ownership is unknown. In 1916 C.A. McAllister owned the house. Esther D.J. Winquist, who rented to Davida M. Winquist, purchased the house in 1933. Davida M. Winquist was a saleswoman with the Bartell Drug Company. According to a permit for a remodel of the garage, Davida M. Winquist owned the house in 1960.
 
Appearance
This two and a half story American Foursquare is situated on a lot facing east. The house is clad in narrow clapboard siding and has a hipped roof. The building footprint is an elongated rectangle, a little more than twice as deep as it is wide. The front entrance porch is on the north side of the front elevation. The porch is composed of an arched pediment supported by large and small brackets. Next to the front entrance is a double-hung window with a single sash. The second story front elevation has two symmetrical double-hung windows with single sashes above. Below these windows is a decorative small balcony supported by a series of diminutive brackets. The half story has a single gabled dormer with a single window on the front elevation. The south facing elevation has a box bay window with a three-part window similar to those on the front elevation.
