This house embodies the distinctive characteristics of a vernacular interpretation of the Queen Anne style. It is important because it enhances our knowledge of vernacular architecture and residential development in Seattle and because it and its setting contribute to the historic streetscape. Additionally, this property may enhance our knowledge of the Asian American experience in Seattle. It appears on the 1893 Sanborn Map. By 1937 the house was rental property belonging to Mary Lee. Tax records observed that this are was considered an "Oriental neighborhood" in 1937.
Hand written note on survey form regarding the location address reads "subsequently moved across street."

| Appearance |
| This is an early Seattle house and displays unusually nice detailing for so pioneer a setting. It is a traditional two story gable front with gable wing form embellished with Queen Anne detail. The front gable is shingled with a one sotry round bay beneath. The asymmetrical entrance porch is supported by turned posts and decorated with spindlework. The house is vacant and boarded up. |
