This house is included because of its form as a typical 19th Century L-shaped cottage and because it contributes to the historic streetscape. It appears on the 1904-1905 Sanborn Map. Fred C. C. Abel held title to this proeprty in 1922
 
Appearance
This folk house is included in the survey because its essential form is intact and it offers us information about vernacular housing in turn-of-the-century South Park. It is a gabled roof el-shaped cottage with a hipped roof porch in the el. The orignial Victorian door survivies but otherwise the house is devoid of detail. There are additions to the rear. It is set close to the street on a treed lot and contibutes to the historic streetscape.
