Historic Name: Unknown Common Name:
Style: Vernacular Neighborhood: South Park
Built By: Year Built: 1900

Significance
This cottage is the only one of its king that survives in South Park. Its simple form and materials add to our information about late 19th Century vernacular architecture. J. M. Adcock held title to this property in 1929.

Appearance
This cottage is included in the survey because despite numerous alterations its form and materials offer us information about the development of housing in South Park. This one-story gabled folk house is clad in wood shingles. It appears that a shed porch to the west has been enclosed as a room. A brick chimney rises from the center of the house. Shed extensions project to the east. A new picture window pierces the northern façade. Although adjacent to industrial development, the setting of this cottage clearly suggests South Parks rural origins and creates an edge between residential and industrial use.
