The house appears on the 1904-1905 Sanborn Map. A. Rolstrand acquired the property in October of 1918.

| Appearance |
| This two story frame house is a traditional Foursquare form with an uncharacteristically low hipped roof. IT is embellished with late Victorian neoclassical elements; most prominently a pedimented entrance porch supported by pairs of slender classical columns. A carved Adamesque garland decorates the pediment. A full height bay with stained glass transom windows is capped by a false gable. Cased corner joints create pilasters. |
