This one-story concrete building was constructed in 1923 and owned by J. W. Kitchen. In 1937 the two tenants were Allbestos Corporation and Seattle Radio Supply, which later purchased the building. These were typical of the types of businesses that located in Belltown at the time so that they could be close to their customers in downtown office buildings. It has been altered through the filling in of the large display windows and the replacement of the multipaned transoms in the arches.
