This modest building was built in 1925 as a typical commercial building with two storefronts with multipaned display windows; in 1937 it housed a dry cleaner and grocery store. The front opened up with folding doors, as was often seen in market buildings of the period. In 1956 it was completely remodeled with new windows and cladding. It was later updated again with a glass front and marblecrete above.
