Significance
This house is an excellent example of late 19th/early 20th century vernacular housing. It contributes to our knowledge of the architectural and residential development of Seattle. Building permit #22551 dated 1903.
 
Appearance
This is an eccentric little cottage which is basically a traditional one story hipped roof box. It has been stylized with bell-cast eaves and large hipped roof dormers. The façade is slightly bowed to create a three window bay next to the inset corner porch. The porch is supported by a partial height round column on a square base. The house has a modern concrete block foundation and basement and a new brick chimney. The dormers are clad in decorative patterned wooden shingles.
