This house appears on the 1904-1905 Sanborn map just south of a stable, the second floor of which housed the town hall. The commercial buildings across the street from it stood on the Duwamish River bank before its alteration in 1914. This house is important for the information it yields about 19th Century South Park and its vernacular architecture.
Hugh or Hugo V. Didrickson held title in 1939.

| Appearance |
| This two story housetakes the basic form of the typical gable front folk house that characterized early South Park, but because it is larger scaled and the façade enriched by a cutaway bay with balcony above and a pedimented entrance porch, the house offers us a local interpretation of the Queen Anne style. Asbestos siding covers the original and some of the original one-over-one double hung wooden sash have been replaced. Sited on a prominent corner lot facing the tiny park at Dallas and Southern Avenues, this house and its setting contribute to the historic streetscape. |
