Significance
This small two-story vernacular building and the building to the north (on the same parcel) are among the oldest remaining structures in Belltown. They stand out because of their high degree of integrity, a reminder of Belltown's early character. This building appears to be the older one, built about 1900. It has had a wide variety of uses over the years; in the 1930s-40s it was a machine shop, illustrating the varied activities that occurred in Belltown in that period.
 
Appearance
This small two-story building has a relatively intact single storefront with large display windows with transoms. The second story has aluminum-framed windows. It is of wood frame construction clad with red brick, with a corbelled cornice. In the 1930s-40s it was a machine shop
