This building looks like a separate building, but it is the rear (east) portion of the retail building at 2100 1st Avenue. It served originally as q garage, with the entry at the north end on 1st Avenue. It was designed in 1920 by architect K. Hamilton Rowe for owner Zbinden and Gerbel. In 1937 the primary tenant was a second-hand store, the Trading Post, in the corner location; this was later a garage for Standard Furniture. In 1987 the garage area was converted to office use, with large display windows.
