Significance
This is a good example of late 19th/early 20th century vernacular architecture. It contributes to our knowledge of the architectural and residential development in Seattle. It and its setting contribute to the historic streetscape.
 
Appearance
This is a well preserved example of a variation of the one and 1/2 story gable front vernacular form. It has a full width gable roof porch supported by partial height square columns resting on balustrade clad in siding to match the house. Course shingles cover the gables. It has an asymmetrical entrance, multilight over one cottage windows, and knee brace supports.
