The Shaping Seattle map features construction and land use projects. This map increases public awareness about development in Seattle, and provides opportunities to participate and/or comment on Land Use projects that are under review, including Design Review. Design Review is one of the initial steps a developer takes to start the design process of a proposed project.

Some projects do not complete the permitting process or do not get built. For these reasons, this map is not an appropriate tool to interpret development trends or housing statistics.
