Types of classes:

Adult Hands-Only CPR - 2 hours
This course covers Adult CPR and first aid techniques in choking. A card of completion is given out at the end of the class, which is participatory in nature only and is not an official certification card. The class is approximately 2 hours in length, but can last longer depending upon the interest and flow of the group.

Minimum: 20 participants preferred; maximum: 40 (more will require additional instructors or classes.)

Pediatric (Infant and Child) - 2 hours
This course covers Infant and Child CPR and first aid techniques in choking. A card of completion is given out at the end of the class, which is participatory in nature only and is not an official certification card.The class is approximately 2 hours in length, but can last longer depending upon the interest and flow of the group.

Minimum: 6; maximum: 30 (more will require additional instructors or classes.)

AED/CPR Heartsaver - 2-1/2 hours
This class covers the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), which is integrated with CPR. It is designed for healthcare providers and for those with an AED. The class is approximately 2-l/2 hours in length, but can last longer depending upon the interest and flow of the group.

Minimum: 3; maximum: 10 (more will require additional instructors or classes.) There is a minimum donation of $25 per person. An official Health and Safety Institution certification card is issued in the class.

Scheduling should be done at least four weeks in advance. If you need to have it done sooner, it will depend upon availability of instructors. Individuals or small groups of 2 or 3 can be placed into an on-going class by contacting the Medic II.
