School-Age Program

Kindergarten and up, involves a required education component prior to visit or tour. All requesting preschools, schools, groups and organizations must be located within the City of Seattle.

Only one visit or tour per day, per fire station can be scheduled. If you have more than one group, you will need to submit a separate registration form for each group and their visits will need to be scheduled on different days.

Tour a station - Maximum number of participants is 25 (including 5 chaperones). One chaperone for every five children is required. Fire stations are active places for firefighter work. Fire stations remain "in-service" during tours. Fire companies may need to respond to emergencies at any time. If they do, it will be necessary for the tour to end and your group to exit the station.

Firefighter visit at your location - Minimum group size is 15. Fire companies remain "in-service" during visits. A parking area must be provided where the fire engine/truck can get in and out quickly in the event of an emergency. Fire companies may need to respond to emergencies at any time. An adequate number of chaperones must be present to quickly clear children from the fire engine/truck if necessary.
